Basenji, the dog that doesn't bark

This dog does not bark and not because of a lack of vocal cords but because its larynx has a different position than other dogs.

Their vocal cords are also narrower, flatter and more superficial than those of others.

The Basenji makes a kind of yodeling and chuckling-like sounds.

Cats always land on their feet

We explain why:

Cats have short legs and a very elastic spine, so when they fall their legs do not fracture.

This is because its vestibular system, located in the inner ear, reacts in tenths of a second to having the head in an irregular position, where the cat's entire body reacts.
